MECHANICS TYPE.....ISOLATED

BENT LEG CALF RAISE LEG PRESS..

This is an great exercise to use if your gym does not have a seated calf machine as it works the same outer muscles of the calfs as the seated calf raise My personal view is that this exercise works the outa area better than the seated calf raise.

Step 1. Sit in the leg press machine as you would if you were using the machine for calf raises.

Step 2. Instead of having your legs straight, bend your legs at a 90 degree angle.

Step 3. Push as hard as you can with your toes for a rep before returning to the flat position of the exercise.
